Terms and Conditions
Delivery

We aim to despatch orders from stock within 5 working days but there may be times that this timescale will not be possible therefore, you should allow 30 days for delivery from stock. As small companies and individuals handcraft many of the items we sell, there may be occasions when there is a delay getting stock from our suppliers and in these circumstances we will, therefore, be unable to deliver your order within the standard 30-day period.

If all or part of your order is temporarily out of stock and we cannot re-stock in time to enable us to deliver within the normal 30 day period we will notify you of revised delivery times by e-mail and give you the opportunity to amend or cancel your order.

You can be notified by e-mail when your order is despatched and of it’s estimated date of delivery.

Orders that have a total shipping weight of up to 2000 grams are normally sent by Royal Mail, and orders that that have a total shipping weight that exceeds 2000 grams are normally sent by Parcel Force. Please see shipping guide for further details and costs.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery of orders for any reason that is deemed to be outwith our control. In the event that your order does not arrive within the expected time period, please allow two extra working days before notifying us.

Measurements/Descriptions

All sizes indicated, including dimensions, volume, and weight are approximate. Shipping weights are inclusive of all packaging. All measurements/descriptions provided are for use only as a guide and do not form part of any contract. We endeavour to provide accurate information but cannot be held liable for any discrepancies that appear on this website.

Payment

Payment is in British Pounds Sterling and for all countries outwith the UK the exchange rate at the time of payment/refund transfer will apply. Please note this may vary from the time of order. We do not retain details of your credit card information as all transactions are directed through Protx (part of the Sage group) and their terms and conditions will apply to all payments/refunds.

Taxes

We are registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) in the UK. Our registration number is 864 0558 13. VAT at the current rate is applied to all orders delivered to the UK and EU and excluded for all orders delivered elsewhere in the world. We will not accept responsibility for the payment of taxes and/or fees of any description that may be applied to orders in their country of destination and/or at the point of delivery. Purchasers will be responsible for the payment of all taxes and/or fees incurred.

Returns

If you change your mind you may return goods (with the exception of earrings in the interest of hygiene) in their original condition and packaging at your expense for a refund of the value of the goods only, less a banking fee of £10.00 to refund your credit card. Any refund due will be paid in British Pounds Sterling. Shipping costs will not be refunded. In the event that you return goods it is your responsibility to ensure that the carrier you use to return the goods will compensate you for any damages/losses caused during transit as we cannot accept responsibility for and/or give a refund for goods damaged or lost in transit. All returns must reach us no later than 14 days after the day you receive them to qualify for a refund.

Damages

All goods are inspected by us prior to despatch and leave our premises in perfect condition. All goods also carry a guarantee against manufacturing defects that is valid for 28 days from the date of purchase. You should inspect your goods immediately on delivery and notify us by e-mail without delay of any damages/losses. Under no circumstances can we accept responsibility for goods that have not been inspected by you prior to accepting them from our carrier as having been received in good condition. If there is any sign of damage to packaging you should ensure that the contents are carefully checked for damage and loss and ensure that any such damage and/or losses is recorded in writing by the carrier at the time of delivery. We advise that signed documentation from the carrier noting damage and /or loss should be requested by you, and retained by you. We may request a copy of the documentation from you as it may be required by us when submitting a claim to our carrier for damages. You will receive a replacement for any item that has been damaged or lost in transit to you provided you have not accepted your order as complete and/or received in good condition as under these circumstances neither we or our carrier will accept any responsibility for damage or loss. If you do not inspect your order at the time of delivery please ensure that it is noted by the carrier otherwise they will not accept responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit.

Privacy

Any personal details you provide us with to enable us to process your order are for our own use. We do not pass your details to third parties.

Disputes

In the event that an un-resolvable disagreement arises between the vendor and the purchaser, all disputes will be resolved subject to the terms and conditions as laid down by Scottish Law and, where no agreement can be reached, shall be settled in Scotland within a Scottish Courtroom with the total exclusion of the laws and courtrooms in all other countries.
